Prior to Dwyane Wade’s relationship with Gabrielle Union, he was married to his high school sweetheart Siohvaughn Funches for eight years.
The couple had two children together, Zaire and Zion, who recently came out as transgender and changed her name to Zaya.
Wade and Funches would part ways in 2007, but before they got there, it was a moment where Gabrielle Union showed up to an all-star game event with Funches present in Denver and dropped a savage comment.
Union walked over to her and said, “You tell your husband that I’m a big fan of his.”
Funches had no clue just how much of a fan she truly was as the two have since gotten married and had a child of their own.
