Stephen Curry, the star player of the Golden State Warriors, is often considered the greatest shooter of all time. He led the Warriors to four NBA championships and won NBA MVP in 2015 and 2016. However, even though he won the NBA MVP award for the 2014-15 season, he did not receive the NBA Finals MVP award that year.
The Warriors competed against the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals during the 2014-15 season. Ultimately, the Warriors triumphed over the Cavaliers in a six-game series, with Andre Iguodala earning the title of Finals MVP. Despite this remarkable accomplishment, Iguodala expressed disbelief regarding his selection as the 2015 NBA Finals MVP over teammate Stephen Curry.
“I don’t know why they gave it to me. They were supposed to give it to Steph,” Iguodala stated during a recent live stream with Twitch streamer Kai Cenat.
