LeBron James might do more bad to the basketball realm than good! Having played 22 seasons so far, James is now 40 years old. However, despite his advanced age, King James is actively performing for the Los Angeles Lakers. Such an incredible feat has left the hoops world in awe of his longevity in the sport. Unfortunately, not everybody shares the same sentiment about James being a legend.
One such individual is Kwame Brown. The 2001 NBA first-overall pick is known for his controversial takes. In a video uploaded on YouTube by ‘MVP’, Brown gave a rather shocking statement about the Lakers’ star.
“I believe LeBron James is going to lead the game worse than he found it… That’s just my particular opinion because he doesn’t have any accountability for how he has impacted the game. And a lot of the things, he admitted it, he said the quiet part out loud,” Brown said.

“I believe LeBron is going to leave the game worse than he found it… LeBron is a football player, playing basketball. And they moved these rules so that his skill set could work.”

Brown also continued with his rant by calling James a ‘football player’ who is playing basketball. Meanwhile, with James’ retirement rumors going wild, the legend himself dropped a major hint about hanging his boots.
LeBron James To Retire With Los Angeles Lakers?
Ever since LeBron James was nearing 40, rumors regarding his probable retirement started to spread. Recently, speculations about the Lakers’ star switching jerseys to play for the Golden State Warriors were doing the rounds. However, when James was asked about his future in the NBA, he himself gave mixed signals.
“I think that’s the plan. I think I would love for it to end here. I came here (LA) to play the last stage of my career and to finish it off here,” said James via Underdog_NBA.

“I think that’s the plan. I would love for it to end here… But I’m also not silly or too jaded to know the business of the game as well.”

Thus, making his stance clear, LeBron James will now look to focus more on trying to take the Lakers to the playoffs. However, how effectively he can do it will remain an interesting prospect to watch out for.
