After proving himself in the NY Knicks colors, Isaiah Hartenstein got a massive deal from the Westerners, OKC Thunder, during the off-season. While the gigantic offer has certainly thrilled the former Knicks center, the former player, David West, expressed dissatisfaction with the lavish expense.
West shared a story on his official Instagram account mentioning Hartenstein’s mediocre stat line and three-year $87 million contract. The 7-foot-1 center’s last season averages of 7.8 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 2.5 assists were circled in the picture. Taking a sly dig at Hartenstein, West wrote in the caption, “What a time to be an NBA player!!!!!”
The 2-time champion pointed out the financial transactions made to the players in this generation regardless of their performance metrics. West’s trolling of Hartenstein was quickly circulated on different social media platforms.

“Gotta disagree tho, he’s a pretty versatile dude and I feel like that’s about what his mark value is, especially after his playoff run inflation is a b**ch”, added another X user, highlighting Hartenstein’s skills.
Whereas one fan took his side and wrote, “West always has good takes. Hartensh*t a scrub”
“Bros gonna lose his mind when he sees Draymond contract and stats”, stated someone.
“Nah cuz this ain’t it Isiah a dawg coming from a warriors fan”, a Warriors supporter begged to differ.
Isaiah Hartenstein might not have the offensive numbers, but his impressive rebounds have made him a key player. The Thunder will expect the same from the big man next season.
