Two former NBA players could be in some hot water over in China following allegations of the pair helping fix a playoff game in the Chinese Basketball Association, according to the Action Network.
Eric Bledsoe and Michael Bledsoe are the players in question and they, along with their team, the Shanghai Sharks, have been disqualified from the playoffs on the back of the team’s suspicious win over the Jiangsu Dragons on Friday.
The Dragons have also been booted from the playoffs as the CBA is of the view that they worked with the Sharks to ensure the latter won 108-104.
The game is believed to have been flagged after the Dragons committed five consecutive turnovers that saw them lose after going into the last two minutes with a four-point lead. The turnovers led to a 10-0 run by the Sharks.
Basketball is pretty big in China and Chinese fans are especially appreciative of the former NBA players who grace their league. So this is considered to be a major incident as far as sports controversies are concerned.
No other punishments have been announced as the CBA is likely still investigating. But there are probably going to be some stiffer penalties levied if it is determined that the teams did collude to fashion the result.

The CBA is expected to make an official announcement at some point but the Sharks and Dragons will be going no further in the playoffs unless an investigation suggests otherwise.
