The former Kansas State basketball player was arrested for marijuana possession at 5:12 a.m. this morning at MHK Regional Airport.
The arrest came shortly after the former Kansas State basketball player was seen courtside at Kansas State’s victory over Kansas. He was spotted celebrating with fans as his former Kansas State Wildcats secured their fifth consecutive win. The sight of the former college star in attendance had thrilled Wildcats supporters. Hence, it has made the news of his arrest all the more surprising.
Following his arrest, Beasley was released on a $750 bond. While this incident marks another legal setback for the former NBA player, it is not his first encounter with the law. In 2013, while playing for the Phoenix Suns, he was arrested for a similar charge in Scottsdale, Arizona.
