Former Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets player Darius Morris is at the center of some major controversy as he is now being sued by a woman for alleged assault and battery, according to new court papers. Kristen Summer filed the Manhattan Supreme Court summons against the 30-year-old this past Friday, according to the New York Post.
The brief two-page summons says Summer’s case “arises from assault and battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and gender motivated violence” involving Morris.
Morris’s ex-girlfriend, Kristen Evangaline, recently blasted him all over social media when a graphic video showed him savagely beating her as she screamed for help. She also released photos as well.

Morris has since taken to Instagram and dropped an ‘apology.’
That is not going to do it.
Morris was a star at the Univ. of Michigan, averaging 15 points per game in the 2010-2011 season, before the Lakers took a chance on him in the draft.
He last played overseas back in 2020.
