Trae Young has emerged as one of the top guards not only for the Atlanta Hawks but also in the NBA over the years. Playing for the Hawks, Young has been averaging 22 points per game. To add the cherry on the top, Young is leading the assist leaderboard with an impressive 12.5 per game. Unfortunately, despite such interesting numbers from the 26-year-old, the Atlanta Hawks have not been able to capitalize.
This is something that the former Clippers’ star, Austin Rivers, has an issue with. Making an appearance on the ‘Off Guard’ podcast, Rivers explained why he wanted Young to move out of the Hawks as soon as possible.
“I haven’t seen Trae Young play a meaningful game since God knows when… Every time I turn on the Hawks, it’s a game that nobody gives a f*** about who wins. You’re not going anywhere. Get out of there, get out,” Rivers said.

Surely, the Hawks are languishing at the middle of the table. With three games under .500 at 8-11, the Atlanta Hawks will have to pull up their socks in order to crack the playoffs. Meanwhile, Young seems to be happy playing for the Hawks at the moment. What’s more? He is even throwing trolls at his opponents.
Trae Young Trolls New York Knicks Fans
Trae Young has had a long history of rivalry with the New York Knicks fan base. Thus, when the Hawks managed to get the better of the Knicks 121-116, Young did not miss out. The 26-year-old took the trolling to the Knicks fans as he asked them to find Atlanta’s State Farm Arena Exit.

“I hope these [Knicks] fans find their way to the exit real, real quick… Booo. Take y’all a** home.”
