Wow! Things got WILD during today’s game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Detroit Pistons. And the result was nearly another Malice at the Palace.
After taking a nasty elbow from LeBron James in the third quarter that left him bloodied, Pistons big man Isaiah Stewart tried to get at the Lakers superstar. The two were eventually broken up, and both men were ejected from the contest. But that didn’t leave Stewart satisfied. As he was being escorted off the court, footage from the stands captured Stewart barreling over security guards as he tried to get at James and the Lakers players.
On security guard could be seen getting tossed to the ground. But James’ teammates weren’t scared.
During Stewart’s stampede across the court, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook could be seen standing guard, ready to take on the Pistons forward if he made it to them.
