Terrence Clarke was only 19-years-old when his life ended and that is heartbreaking enough in itself.
Now, we have actual footage of the car wreck that claimed the future NBA player’s life. Clarke, the 19-year-old former UK Wildcats basketball player who recently declared for the 2021 draft, died in Los Angeles on Thursday.
“WKYT has confirmed former UK men’s basketball player Terrence Clarke has died in Los Angeles,” the station reported.
CBS LA has since obtained the video and released it for all to see.

John Calipari later confirmed Clarke’s death, writing on Twitter, “I am absolutely gutted and sick tonight. I ask that everyone take a moment tonight to say a prayer for Terrence Clarke and his family. May he Rest In Peace.” Kentucky Basketball wrote, “We are devastated to learn of our own Terrence Clarke’s tragic passing. Our hearts are heavy for Terrence, his family and all of us who loved him.”
Another player, BJ Boston, was in a car behind him and was uninjured.
Clarke submitted his name for the 2021 NBA draft in March and had just signed on with Klutch Sports the day before he died.
