It appears as though Delonte West has hit another rough patch in his post-NBA life.
The former Celtic, Supersonic, Cavalier and Maverick was recently spotted on the streets panhandling by some fans.
This is just another shock after he was reportedly going to enter the BIG3 draft pool following his tryout for the league in March.
In October 2008, after signing a two-year contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers, West took a brief hiatus from the team to receive treatment for depression and an unspecified mood disorder that he has had his entire life.
After photos circulated in September 2020 appearing to show West asking for money while walking along a street in Dallas, Mavericks team owner Mark Cuban went to pick him up and help him out. Things appeared to be going well, but then he got arrested last October in Florida on charges of obstruction/resisting without violence, open container and disorderly intoxication.
