Talk about worst case scenario.
Trying to score tickets to watch high quality match-ups in March for fans can be quite daunting because teams have a habit of resting players randomly to avoid injury and not wear them out so they can possibly make a deep playoff run.
Apparently one fan found that out the hard way after shelling out several thousands of dollars to see Giannis Antetokounmpo square off against LeBron James on Tuesday.
That is a top notch matchup that any fan would want to see. Unfortunately, neither player played on this night.
According to Darren Rovell, the fan paid $6,970.50 for courtside seats to watch everybody else play except for the superstar players.
That is one expensive lesson to learn.
