Ja Morant’s skyrocketing basketball career is on hold following a series of off-court decisions by the young NBA star involving him pulling out weapons while on Instagram Live.
Ja Morant was just hit with an 8-game suspension without pay for flashing a gun at a strip club in the Denver area. He said he would learn from this situation, and he never did as he would do it yet again while in a car with friends and listening to rap music.
This time around, a stripper from Shotgun Willie’s, where he first got in trouble, is calling him and demanding an apology.
“He’s clearly begging for attention and trying to be a baller. He should be banned from all clubs and get his NBA career taken away given our country’s current circumstances on gun violence.”
“I don’t foresee an apology [anytime] soon,” one of the dancers at the famous Shotgun Willie’s nightclub told the NY Post. “He’s a boy.”
“I just wonder about how he’s still on the team,” another dancer added.
Morant went to Shotgun Willie’s, a Denver strip club, during the regular season and it might have derailed the Memphis Grizzlies entire season when he broadcast himself holding a gun on Instagram Live.

Morant reportedly blew through $50,000 at his now very public trip to a Colorado strip club. If he is spending money like that, I don’t think other strippers would appreciate this one anonymous girl trying to take money away from them by not having Morant frequent their clubs.
The NBA has time to investigate his latest gun issue and they might end up dropping the hammer on him since he learned nothing the first time around. This suspension will no doubt hurt the team for the 2023-2024 season.
