Former Penn State star basketball player Jermaine Marshall was tragically found deceased in his apartment, according to Nantes in the French Pro B League that made the announcement on Friday.

“Ex-Arizona State basketball star Jermaine Marshall — who also had a brief stint in the NBA — has died at 28 years old … his French professional team announced Friday.
Marshall was reportedly found dead in his apartment.
The Pennsylvania native played 3 seasons with Penn State before transferring to ASU for his senior year. He played a huge role in the Sun Devils’ NCAA tournament run in 2014, averaging 15 points.
Marshall spent a year with the Houston Rockets before playing in Europe.”
His french club released the following statement:
“The NBH regrets to announce the brutal disappearance of Jermaine Marshall,” a translated version of the club’s statement reads.
“The Club joins the pain of his family and loved ones and gives them all his support to face this terrible ordeal. The NBH is unable to play against ADA Blois on Saturday 19 January and has asked the LNB and ADA Blois to postpone the match at a later date.”
The cause of death has not been released.
