After acquiring LeBron James in free agency with a slew of other changes to the team, Lakers fans were no doubt sure the team would finally make it back to the postseason.
Fast forward to mid-March and the Lakers find themselves on the outside looking in with not many games to go to correct their issues enough to qualify for the postseason.
A 34-year-old LeBron James might not be able to lead this team to the playoffs, but a 34-year-old Kobe Bryant certainly could. At least according to Baron Davis.
The former NBA all-star was posed with this question by TMZ Sports and he was convinced the Black Mamba would be able to do what LeBron cannot.
“Of course Kobe could do it, it’s f*cking Kobe Bryant.”
To be fair, Davis wasn’t taking a shot at just LeBron for the way this season has turned out.
