Andrew Bogut has sparked a wave of criticism against Football Australia over a gender question.
The former Golden State Warriors star and NBA champion took to Twitter to show how disappointed he was about a soccer registration having gender-inclusive options in a drop-down box.
The list included options for male, female, non-binary, or gender fluid players to select, and a fourth for those whose “gender identity not sufficiently represented.”
“Signing our 6-YEAR-OLD! Once again, 6 YEAR OLD! up for soccer,” he wrote. “C’mon @FootballAus.”

Bogut, the No. 1 NBA Draft pick in 2005, spent 13 seasons in the NBA playing for the Bucks, Warriors, Mavericks, Cavaliers, and Lakers.
Widely regarded as one the greatest and most successful players in Australian basketball history, Bogut retired from basketball in 2020.
