Every time he steps on the court, Bronny James, son of LeBron James, is the center of attention. He played in his first Summer League game under the Los Angeles Lakers but didn’t play on Sunday because of his knee injury. His debut match on Saturday was heavily criticized, and he faced a lot of embarrassment for what was seen as lackluster play. Unfortunately, the criticism continued in his second game as well.
On Wednesday, Bronny James faced the Miami Heat’s after returning to the court. In only 21 minutes of action, he collected three points, three boards, and three assists. Unfortunately, he’s gone viral again, this time for very wrong reasons.
Against the Miami Heat on Wednesday night, Bronny James from Lakers had yet another challenging game. His 15-foot practice shot that he air-balled after a foul went viral during the game. After Bronny slipped while guarding in the third quarter, fans argued in the comments section about whether or not he had been pushed and whether or not a foul should have been called. And yet, not a single whistle was blown by the officials.
Some supporters are already getting ready to respond harshly. A fan commented, “Honestly this is making a mockery of the NBA.”
Introducing the nepotism element into the discussion, a supporter wrote, “Dude shot an air all from 5 feet out unguarded. He’s ready for the NBA…nepotism basketball league”

Another wave of controversy has begun, but as his father, LeBron James, revealed earlier, Bronny doesn’t let the criticism bother him.
LeBron James Explains Why Criticism Doesn’t Bother Bronny
Since his tough season at USC, Los Angeles Lakers youngster Bronny James has dealt with criticism. His play in his first game with the Lakers also caused a stir. His father, LeBron James recently said that the constant abuse doesn’t bother Bronny. The 39-year-old explained that his son doesn’t care what other people think about him.
During an interview with ESPN, LeBron said, “He doesn’t even listen to that stuff. He’s like the coolest. He’s like the complete opposite of his dad. His dad will say something [to address the critics]. Bro does not care … Everything that’s being said about him, he really does not care.”.
