Chaos erupted between the Chicago Bulls and the Utah Jazz. In the last seconds of the game, a dramatic scuffle took place at the Delta Centre. In the closing seconds, Utah, who was hosting the Bulls, led by one point. The Jazz were trying to obtain a free throw when Collin Sexton committed a personal foul on DeMar DeRozan. In front of the Bulls bench, no less. After a few words were said, it’s unclear what transpired, but before you knew it, John Collins was extending his hands.
Regretfully, assistant coach Chris Fleming of the Bulls also became involved. Fleming was assaulted and had his throat seized in a matter of seconds before Collins was put in a restraint. This called for a technical, but ironically, Utah only received one, while Chicago received two.
