ESPN NBA host Maria Taylor has posted a strong message about Adrian Wojnarowski following a following a major controversy that happened on Friday.
Wojnarowski, who is arguably the best NBA reporter in the business, allegedly sent a harsh email in response to a United States Senator.
Sen. Josh Hawley sent a letter to NBA commissioner Adam Silver, criticizing the league’s relationship with China, which caused Woj to send a two-word reply.
“F–k you,” Wojnarowski said.
Wojnarowski has since apologized.
“I was disrespectful and I made a regrettable mistake,” Wojnarowski wrote. “I’m sorry for the way I handled myself and I am reaching out immediately to Senator Hawley to apologize directly. I also need to apologize to my ESPN colleagues because I know my actions were unacceptable and should not reflect on any of them.”
