Who knew we would be in 2019 and the Golden State Warriors would find themselves as an afterthought in the league.
The Warriors have been to 5-straight NBA Finals, winning three of them, but that clearly wasn’t enough for ESPN to show them any type of respect this off-season.
On Monday, the Worldwide Leader in Sports released their power rankings during the off-season and Warriors weren’t anywhere on the top-10 list.
It should be noted that ESPN stated on their website that “rankings are based on which teams voters think belong higher heading into the 2019-20 season, taking into account injuries and potential further player movement.”
Still, a team with four all-stars should probably be on this list. Also, you would think that a team who just added Anthony Davis would be a bit higher than they currently.
