A massive trade proposal has the Milwaukee Bucks trading franchise superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo to a top Eastern Conference team in a move that would set off fireworks across the league.
Giannis Antetokounmpo signed a three-year contract extension with Milwaukee worth $186 million last year, seemingly committing to the franchise long-term. But the Bucks are off to an ugly 1-4 start this season, and back-to-back first-round playoff eliminations have led to speculation that he could eventually request a trade if they don’t return to title contention.
Obviously, Milwaukee hopes to turn a corner and continue competing with Giannis, Damian Lillard and Khris Middleton. But if the two-time league MVP were to request a trade, the Bucks would have to comply and take the best offer.
Fran Leiva of Fadeaway World recently compiled a list of every NBA team’s best potential trade offer to Milwaukee for Antetokounmpo. For the Philadelphia 76ers, Leiva proposed a package of Tyrese Maxey, Jared McCain, Caleb Martin, Ricky council IV and first-round picks in 2026 and 2029, thus forming a “big three” of Antetokounmpo, Joel Embiid and Paul George:
“This trade proposal for Giannis is intriguing but unlikely, given Maxey’s current role and development as the team’s future cornerstone. With Embiid and George unavailable, moving Maxey would leave the Sixers without a reliable offensive leader and reduce their depth significantly. For the Bucks, though, this package offers a solid mix of young talent and picks, which would be beneficial if they chose to rebuild. But given Philly’s injury struggles and reliance on Maxey, parting with him at this stage would likely be a non-starter, even for a player of Giannis’ caliber.”

The 76ers signed Paul George in free agency to form a new “big three” alongside Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey. The hope is that the two-way star and future Hall of Famer will be the final piece needed to help Embiid deliver a championship to Philly.
Giannis Antetokounmpo Would Win Multiple Titles In Philly
Embiid and George alone make the 76ers championship contenders, but adding Antetokounmpo would undoubtedly guarantee multiple NBA titles for Nick Nurse’s group.
The Boston Celtics remain the team to beat in the East, but that would change if the 76ers could somehow form this new big three. Antetokounmpo and Embiid are two of the NBA’s top five players, and George himself isn’t far off from Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown as a difference-maker.
So if the 76ers could bring Giannis to Philly, they would easily win at least two titles. It wouldn’t be far off the level of greatness we saw from the Golden State Warriors with Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson.
