Dwyane Wade does not believe in traditional roles for a man and a woman…at least in his household.
During a recent interview with “Extra’s” Cheslie Kryst, the former Miami Heat star talked about how he does not take the lead in his house and explained why.
“It’s not a man leads and a woman follows. That’s not what we live in this house. I have a wife that works harder than I and she had her own career and life before I came along.”
“How can I be part of the growth and evolution of who she is. Not try to change her or stunt her growth in the way that I see fit.”

“He’s in the house all the time,” Union, 48, said of Wade, 39. “It was good initially because it was like, ‘Oh my god, you’re home and we’re never in the same place at the same time.’ And then it was like, ‘You’ve said that joke. I heard it.'”
“She is her own boss and has her own career, her own bank account and all that,” said Wade. “She has her own life and she allows me to live my life and be me, and she doesn’t try to stop my growth or change who I am.”
