Dwight Howard called out a list of NBA Playoff stars, including the New York Knicks’ All-Star Julius Randle, to join him in Taiwan with their teams eliminated from playoff contention.
The 37-year-old took to his social media accounts and posted a video of himself hilariously calling out many players by name that he thinks need to bring their talent to where he is at.
Julius Randle was one of several fallen NBA Playoff participants called out by eight-time All-Star Dwight Howard, who has brought his interior prowess to Taiwan’s T1 League.
Among the names were Jordan Poole, Ben Simmons, Klay Thompson, Deandre Ayton, Chris Paul, Kevin Durant, and James Harden.
Each player on the list was at the forefront of their team’s postseason shortcomings, even if they didn’t play like Ben Simmons.
The eight-time NBA All-Star, who is famous in China where the sport is hugely popular, moved to Taiwan to play in the local league after he left the Los Angeles Lakers in 2022.

He has drawn harsh criticism in China after he called Taiwan a “country” in a video. Many took it as him advocating “Taiwan independence” in China, which sees the island as a breakaway province.
Howard later told local media: “If I offended anyone in China, anybody, you know, I apologize.”
His original video was created to promote an event that invited people to participate in a contest where winners spend a night at Taiwan’s Presidential Office.
The incident comes at a time of heightened tensions between China and Taiwan. In recent months, China has increased its military activity near Taiwan, which the U.S. has pledged to support in the event of a Chinese attack.
