NBA fans have been entertained for years by the ongoing feud between former stars Dwight Howard and Shaquille O’Neal. The playful rivalry recently took a more heated turn. During an appearance on the GAUDS Show, Howard revealed his desire to confront O’Neal in person, potentially signaling an attempt to end their feud.
However, reconciliation doesn’t seem to be on O’Neal’s agenda. Instead, Shaq took to social media to fire another subtle shot at Howard, dismissing him as a “sensitive big man” who can’t take a joke and insisting he doesn’t care about Howard.

Howard didn’t hold back in his response. Howard took to his X account and accused Shaq of harboring jealousy and insecurity while pointing out O’Neal’s history of criticizing him and others.
“I know you care. Cuz yo insecure ass been hating and talking shit for 20 years. You to big to be this insecure. I hope you don’t bring my name up again. 52 years old tweeting me. And still hating. Now all this time you was joking. You always been jealous. Jealous of Kobe, penny, dwayde. You jealous of Charles too. Go move around big lazy insecure ass,” Howard wrote.

Dwight Howard Opens Up About Attempting To Reconnect With Shaquille O’Neal On “Dancing With The Stars”
During his appearance on the GAUDS Show, Dwight Howard shared an interesting story about his time on “Dancing with the Stars” and his attempt to mend his relationship with Shaquille O’Neal. Howard revealed that he tried to reach out to Shaq through a mutual friend, asking if they could facilitate a conversation between them.
“I asked, ‘Could you let Shaq know I’d really like to have a chat? Every interaction I see or hear from him comes with some level of disrespect.’ “So, do we need to throw hands?” Howard said.
Despite Howard’s efforts to mend their relationship, it seems the tension between the two NBA legends will never be fully resolved. Although in his last post, Shaq claimed he wouldn’t mention Howard’s name again, it remains to be seen whether he can stick to that claim following Howard’s latest post.
