Duke coach Jon Scheyer believes in Flagg and reiterated his statement during a discussion with ESPN. Scheyer mentioned that the 17-year-old needs to prove that he is the number one prospect.
“Of course, he has to prove it. I’ve seen guys who have been projected [No. 1], that have gone there, and then guys that are projected that don’t go because you assume it’s gonna happen.” Scheyer said.
The 2025 NBA Draft will showcase a stellar group of draft prospects, with a few amazing players. Flagg, who recently signed with an unexpected shoe brand, particularly stands out as one of the most highly anticipated prospects.
