The Minnesota Timberwolves emerged victorious in Game 4 against the Dallas Mavericks after lagging behind 3-0 in the Western Conference Finals. But, prior to the Game 4, Draymond Green’s concern was on Anthony Edwards’ performance
On the “Draymond Green Show”, Green expressed his observations, noting that Edwards seemed to be struggling with his physical condition. Green observed a lack of the usual explosiveness and energy from Edwards, which raised some concerns about his health and fitness level.
“It looked to me like something was off. Lungs, wind was a little off. Didn’t have that same burst that he had last night, like you saw it right away!” Green said.
However, Edwards quickly dispelled any doubts about his capabilities with an outstanding performance on the court. He recorded 29 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 assists. This remarkable feat not only contributed to the team’s victory but also solidified his place in NBA history. At just a young age, Edwards became the youngest player ever to achieve such numbers in an elimination game.
