Things got heated up between Jayson Tatum and Grant Williams in their recent face-off. Going into the fourth quarter, Williams crashed dangerously into Tatum, with both the stars ending up on the floor. While Tatum did not react to the foul, his teammates immediately responded aggressively to Williams. The referees soon intervened and handed Williams an ejection for a flagrant foul 2 on Tatum.
Meanwhile, while keeping track of the game, Warriors veteran Draymond Green lashed out at the entire incident. Posting a series of tweets, Green reprimanded Williams for calling it an ‘unintentional foul.’ The 34-year-wrote, “Grant Williams saying it’s not intentional fouling JT like that is mad wild. And he smiling about it… Thinking a blindside hit ‘on ya mans’ is a smile worthy offense means 1 of 2 things… you have zero awareness or you a goofy…. And both make you a goofy… goofy.”
Green further teased Williams and taunted him for missing out on the Boston Celtics’ team that won the championship. Calling him ‘jealous,’ Green said, “He mad at JT about something lol… He was suppose to keep him in Boston lol. JT got a ring and dude let his frustrations out about it.” Well, this is not the first time the four-time NBA champion has spoken about fouls.
Draymond Green Gives His Two Cents On His Technical Fouls
Aspiring to reach the NBA finals, Draymond Green is going all out in his games. Unfortunately, in some instances, Green is getting himself into trouble for his extra efforts. For example, on their opening night, the Warriors won the game 140-104 against the Portland Trail Blazers. Sadly, charged with a technical foul in the fourth quarter, Green had somewhat of a tarnished experience.
Incidentally, the foul put Green on pace for 82 technical fouls. But Green seemed to be livid with the decision. Speaking on ‘The Draymond Green Show,’ the Warriors’ legend said, “That tech was some bullshit, bro. Listen, I was bantering back and forth with Tyler Ford. I got nothing but love and respect for Tyler. Tre Maddox comes and stands next to me at the free throw line, and he’s like, ‘Tell me what’s wrong.’ And I was like, ‘That’s not a foul, man.’ It’s not a foul.” Thus, with a mixed season for Green till now, he will surely look to turn things around in the days to come.
