If you’re a popular athlete going through an embarrassing stretch, you better believe the people at “Saturday Night Live” are going to take advantage of your misfortunes.
The latest star athlete on their radar was Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green, who is currently serving a five-game suspension for trying to choke out the Timberwolves’ Rudy Gobert.
During a segment from last night’s episode of SNL, a fake Draymond Green answered some questions about his most recent antics.
Green’s act is clearly growing old and tiresome in Golden State, as even head coach Steve Kerr called out the Warriors vet for his going “too far.”
Green has served two game from his suspension thus far, with both resulting in losses for the Warriors — who are in the midst of a seven-game losing streak at the moment. Between the team’s struggles and his inability to avoid the drama, it wouldn’t surprise anyone if Green’s time in the Bay Area came to an end very soon.
