Draymond Green is looking heavily confident about his team’s chances this season. Having won 4 NBA championships with the Golden State Warriors, he is now fancying yet another ring. After last year’s poor showing, not a lot of experts are ready to consider the Warriors as a championship prospect. But if Green’s words are to be taken seriously, then the Warriors are certainly on a mission.
Green recently made an appearance on ‘The Draymond Green Show with Baron Davis.’ Analyzing their solid preseason camp under Steve Kerr, Green stated, “So, I think we did a great job of setting the tone, and we could not have asked for a better training camp, a better preseason than we had,” Green said. “… I’m not saying we’re gonna go win a championship, but I am saying don’t let us win another f**king championship.”
Green further delved deep into their preseason, which, according to the veteran, was a 10. The four-time NBA champion stated that this season’s training camp was the hardest and one of the best ones that he had done in a long time. In fact, Green opined that the amount of practice hours he took in was reminiscent of his college days. For the uninitiated, the NBA icon used to practice for long hours back in college to have a crack at the NBA.
The veteran forward also stated that although Steve Kerr made them toil hard, this was heavily needed. After their mediocre season last time, a team of the caliber of the Golden State Warriors must not give things away easily. As per Green, the preseason did set a tone. Surely, the Warriors must look to bounce back, as the last season was a forgetful one for them.
Draymond Green’s Golden State Warriors Is Going Through A Rebuild Process
The mighty Golden State Warriors were humbled last season. They finished 10th, which led to the experts labeling them a middling outfit. But the Steph Curry-led side is going through a shake-up. During the offseason, the Warriors lost Chris Paul and Klay Thompson. However, the authorities have been quick to address the issues.

Bringing in athletes like Kyle Anderson, De’Anthony Melton, and Buddy Hield, the Warriors are dreaming again. Thus, riding on the back of a solid preseason and a whole lot of confidence, it remains to be seen whether Draymond Green’s words turn out to be true in the long run.
