Draymond Green is picking a bad time to play his worst basketball of the year.
Playing to avoid a 3-1 deficit in the NBA Finals, the Golden State Warriors star turned in yet another rough performance, scoring only two points on 1-of-7 shooting. He also chipped in nine rebounds, eight assists and four steals, but he was in no way a plus for the team on Friday night.
Things got bad enough that Warriors head coach Steve Kerr pulled Green midway through the fourth quarter.
As that all played out, even Green’s mother, Mary Babers, couldn’t explain what had happened to her son. In fact, it was so bas that she took to Twitter and called him out over his bad play.
She is also not ruling out her son being replaced with a clone.
Green addressed his mom’s comments on his latest podcast.

“I saw my mom tweeted that it’s been a tough series for me,” Green said. “Absolutely, it definitely has, but figure it out how you gotta figure it out.”
Four games into the 2022 NBA Finals, Green is shooting 6-of-26, and he’s recorded more personal fouls (18) than points (17).
The Warriors have won two games despite his poor play.
