The Golden State Warriors achieved a 121-113 victory over the then-second-placed Western Conference side, the Memphis Grizzlies, in an exhilarating matchup at Chase Center. Nevertheless, the game proved challenging for Draymond Green, who accumulated several fouls and expressed his dissatisfaction with the officials’ calls in a post-game interview.
Green recorded nine points, three assists, and two rebounds over the course of 31 minutes on the court. Following the conclusion of the game, he expressed his discontent with the officiating related to the controversial technical foul.
“No, but it’s Draymond Green, that’s why it’s a flagrant foul. You know, it’s ironic? I said, uh, JK, clean elbow to the head.”Boom! I said, wow, that’s a review. and I said, if I blow on someone, y’all review it. He’s like, aw! And there you have it. Who’s surprised? I got a tech for Sam, boom! I say boom every time I make three. and I got a tech saying boom. When did they become so above the law that you can’t say boom?” Green said.
Draymond Green asked about Zach Edey: “He play in the NBA.” Asked about his skill set: “He play in the NBA.”

Since the beginning of the 2024-25 NBA season, the referees have made several mistakes. Most notably, during the recent Indiana Pacers versus Oklahoma City Thunder game, NBA officials exhibited a significant oversight. This resulted in widespread confusion among the spectators present in the arena.
Draymond Green Fouls Zach Edey During Game Against The Grizzlies
In the fourth quarter, during a contested rebound, Zach Edey secured the ball while Green attempted to make a play. Although there was no contact with Edey’s head or neck, Green was assessed a Flagrant one-foul after trying to swipe the ball away. This ruling sparked frustration in Green, who sarcastically clapped as Edey stepped up for his free throws.
When Edey missed his initial attempt, Green was observed mouthing, “Ball don’t lie.” In a later moment, Green executed a three-pointer, celebrating with his trademark phrase, “Boom.” The referees, perceiving this as an unsportsmanlike gesture towards them, issued Green a technical foul.
