Throughout his illustrious career, Draymond Green has shared the court with some of the NBA’s greatest players, including Steph Curry and Klay Thompson. His time with the Golden State Warriors has seen him play alongside legends and build a formidable legacy. However, there is one name that Green hasn’t had the chance to team up with but would love to—LeBron James.
Green was asked at the 32nd annual ceremony of the ESPY Awards at the Dolby Theatre about his wish to be a teammate of an NBA star.
“Is there any player in your career that you haven’t played with that you want to play with?” the reporter asked.
The Warriors star did not hesitate to mention James’ name instantly.
“LeBron. For sure,” he replied.
NBA fans have witnessed James and Green encounter each other 50 times in NBA games. During these matchups, Green holds a 29-21 winning record over James, including a 17-10 record in the playoffs.
