Despite the Golden State Warriors’ elimination from the series during the play-in tournament, Draymond Green is still active in making statements. Green has been more vocal after the elimination, criticizing and praising multiple players and analysts.
During last week’s episode of NBA on TNT, Green joined the crew and had an interesting debate with the legendary player Shaquille O’Neal. Draymond Green talked smack, twice, to Shaquille O’Neal.
Draymond Green: “I’m guarding Shaq? We’re ignoring him. He coming to set the screen? He not gonna roll fast enough.
Shaquille O’Neal: “Hold on, hold on. 2023 Shaq or Shaq, Shaq, Shaq?”
Draymond Green: “You better shoot that because I’ll meet you up top if you go anywhere near here.”
Shaq: “Draymond, wake up! Draymond, you’re having a bad dream! Wake up!”

Draymond Green Joined the NBA on TNT for WCF coverage
According to recent reports by Sports Media Watch, Green will join the ‘Inside the NBA on TNT‘ team for their Western Conference Finals coverage. The source further states that contrary to recent speculation and claims, TNT still holds TV rights for another year until a possible new TV agreement takes effect. Therefore, ‘Inside the NBA’ won’t be ending after this season.
Shaq, also known as the Big Diesel, is considered one of the most entertaining personalities in NBA history. Debating against him will require a lot of skill. Green is also amazing when it comes to debating and being vocal. It will be fascinating to watch the two cover the conference finals and debate with each other.
Green is always aggressive, both on and off the court. Recently, the 34-year-old player criticized Rudy Gobert, a Minnesota Timberwolves player, after the Game 5 defeat against the Denver Nuggets.
