Draymond Green recently admitted he still dislikes Chris Paul in the wake of the point guard getting traded to the Golden State Warriors.
The two players haven’t been able to stand each other for years. Now, they’re set to play in the same uniform next season, with the veteran point guard joining the former defending champions via trade this offseason.
Speaking during the latest episode of the Pat Bev podcast, Green explained his position on CP3 to host Patrick Beverley, stating that he’s waiting to have a manly conversation as there’s still stuff to be worked through between the two of them.
“This is real life we living and playing in these games, to just go front and act like all of those things were fake,” Green declared. “I’ve publicly said I didn’t like Chris before. I’m just not gonna be like ‘Oh man, that changed, now he my teammate.’ No, I look forward to talking amongst men.
“I look forward to working with another adult. We’ve had our fair share of days of not working with adults, and people who don’t move like adults. So, I’m looking forward to going to work with an adult.”
It does seem like Draymond used this as an opportunity to take a shot at Jordan Poole as he may have suggested that the former Dubs guard doesn’t behave like an adult.
The forward infamously punched Poole in the face last year and the Warriors were never able to recover from it. They eventually traded the younger star to the Washington Wizards in exchange for Paul.
