Beloved Canadian musician and Toronto Raptors global ambassador, Drake, has the internet buzzing after he showed up to Wednesday’s game in a slick one-of-a-kind jacket.
Drake was present for the Raptors’ home game against the Brooklyn Nets at Scotiabank arena. The four-time Grammy award winner turned heads by displaying an awesome teddy bear jacket that was created by Jean-Charles De Castelbajac.
Not only that, but Drake was kind enough to let Raptors analyst Jack Armstrong try on the jacket during the first quarter of action. The popular Armstrong sure looked like a million bucks in the comfy jacket.
The Raptors lost to the Atlantic Division rivals by a final score of 112-98, but at least both Drake and Armstrong got to a) be warm and comfortable and b) look really cool in the teddy bear jacket.

Nets All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving led the way with 29 points. Kevin Durant (12 points), Ben Simmons (14 points), Royce O’NEal (15 points) and Nic Claxton (14 points) all reached double-digits for the visitors.
Drake’s Raptors have been a hot-and-cold team through the first month of the season. They started at 3-2, 5-3 and 6-4 but have since dropped four of their last six games, with three of the defeats coming by double-digits.
The Raptors named Drake their global ambassador in Sept. 2013, ahead of the regular season. The franchise has enjoyed its greatest stretch run ever since, making the playoffs all but one year (2020-21). Toronto won the Atlantic Division in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019 and 2020.
Toronto reached the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time in franchise history in 2016, losing to the eventual champion Cleveland Cavaliers. In 2019, the Kawhi Leonard and Kyle Lowry-led Raptors guided the organization to its first ever NBA Championship by defeating the Golden State Warriors in six games.
