You just knew Drake would be front and center for Game 5 as the Toronto Raptors looked to possibly win their first NBA Championship in franchise history.
With 3:05 remaining, Kawhi Leonard had just went off for 10-straight points as the Raptors held a 103-97 lead. The arena was rocking as it looked as if the game was likely over.
Then the wheels fell off following a timeout from head coach Nick Nurse as the Warriors would go on a 9-2 finish to pull out the victory.
Everybody in the arena was dejected and hurt. Nobody worse than Drake who was seen with his head hanging low as he left the arena in shock.
That was a man who was looking to have a huge party in the city of Toronto as did everybody else in the arena that wasn’t associated with the Golden State Warriors.
