Games 1 and 2 of the series against the Toronto Raptors saw Giannis being the MVP candidate everybody thinks he is as he poured in a total of 54 points on 17-36 shooting, and 31 rebounds.
Games 3 and 4 switched up a bit, especially in game 3, as Giannis only hit five shots all night while throwing up 16 from the field. Game 4 was better but he continued his struggles from the free throw line.
All of this could be traced back to one person: Drake.
The Toronto Raptors super-fan and rapper made sure to put his mark on this series by holding a jersey of Giannis’ to put his dreaded curse on it.
Giannis is 8-for-17 combined the last two games from the free throw line as that includes a couple of air balls as well. Not to mention, he is 14-33 from the field.
