Despite all of the trash-talking between the Golden State Warriors and Drake, there is nothing but love between the oppositions when it comes down to it.
Drake was in the building during Game 5 when Kevin Durant ruptured his Achilles, and he was shown very distraught over seeing KD going out yet again. The warriors survived that game.
During Game 6 in Oakland — Klay Thompson went down late in the third quarter after scoring 30 points, and Drake, who was in Toronto watching with thousands of fans, was seen with a heartbreaking reaction to seeing another Warriors player going down with a brutal injury.
You can see Drake pointing to his knee as if he knew that injury was bad before it was officially announced.
It was a cruel end to the Warriors title run as they just couldn’t overcome the amount of injuries they sustained in this year’s playoffs.
Despite the injury on the other side, Drake still had enough in him to celebrate the title.
