It was last month when the world saw Floyd with a knee on his neck from a Minneapolis police officer who left it there for eight minutes and ultimately killed him in the process.
It was a death that showed off the harsh reality of police brutality towards Black men and kicked off massive protests in every state in the country and even places out of this country.
The officers involved in the incident were fired and charged, with the kneeling officer — Derek Chauvin — charged with second-degree murder.
