This is our new normal in 2020. All sporting events have effectively been shut down to the coronavirus and not many people are leaving their homes for fear of contracting the disease.
Just recently, a few NBA players decided to play Call of Duty together and some trash-talking soon began.
New Orleans Pelicans player Josh Hart was streaming video games on Twitch along with Donovan Mitchell of the Utah Jazz and De’Aaron Fox of the Sacramento Kings, and at one point, Hart brought up that Fox is the only player keeping Kings fans engaged.
Fox fired back by stating Hart has never made the playoffs before which led to a hilarious exchange.
Donovan Mitchell tested positive for the coronavirus, but is said to be asymptomatic. His teammate, Rudy Gobert, was the first NBA player to test positive for COVID-19 and it paved the way for the NBA season to be suspended as well as all other sports.
The NBA wants to finish the 2019-20 season, but it’s just a wait and see at the point.
