The Detroit Pistons have finally done it.
After a long run of bitter defeats, the Detroit Pistons ended their streak of losses on Saturday as they avoided setting a new record for the longest losing streak in the history of the NBA.
Many fans had the Pistons beating the Toronto Raptors and that is exactly what they did at a home game in Little Caesars Arena with a score of 129-127. The win prevented the Detroit team from breaking the previous 28-game losing streak set by the Philadelphia 76ers across the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons.
Fans could not help but tell jokes as the much-needed win for Detroit also triggered the activation of a now-infamous in-house promotion.
Their fanbase had been deprived of a deal with the popular wing restaurant chain Wingstop for five free boneless wings for every win. Now, thanks to Saturday’s victory, the promo will give more than just Pistons fans something to cheer about.

The victory against the Raptors is only the third win in the 2023-24 season for the Detroit team.
This season certainly will not end with a playoff run but at least the fans got to celebrate like it was for one night.
