The Los Angeles Clippers have not been in the most extraordinary situation since the playoffs started. They were matched with the Dallas Mavericks, tearing them apart in the series. The frustration from facing the Mavs was clearly visible in Russell Westbrook’s game in Game 3, and Stephen A. Smith caught it.
ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith was not very pleased with the behavior of Clippers star Russell Westbrook in Game 3. Mr. Triple Double played a bit aggressive and committed a bunch of fouls in the game. Smith recently called attention to it. “Inexcusable behavior,” remarked the ESPN analyst.
“I was of the mindset that Russell Westbrook deserved to be suspended for today’s game. That’s how appalling his game was,” added Smith. He pointed out that Westbrook has been a godsend for the Clippers this season but his playstyle in Game 3 was disappointing. He highlighted the dangerous fouls the nine-time all-star committed in the game and called them unacceptable.
Smith also revealed that he called the league office to ask for an explanation of why the Clippers star was not suspended. The office told Smith that the officials at the game had reported the situation to the headquarters and they had handled it. Since no one was injured and it was a playoff game, Westbrook was not suspended, but if it were a regular season game, things may have been different.

Russ is still one of the best in the world. I mean, we still have enough,” said Paul. He supported his teammates James Harden and Russell Westbrook, calling them one of the best in the world and placing his trust in their abilities.
