Dennis Schroder has continued with his slow start for the Golden State Warriors. Getting traded recently, Schroeder was expected to bolster the Warriors’ offense. Unfortunately, that has not been the case. In the 5 matches he has played, Schroder has looked quite unimpressive. Unfortunately, the Warriors, too, have succumbed to a 1-4 win-loss record from the 5 games.
Last Friday, too, the newly traded star had a timid outing against the Los Angeles Clippers. Suffering a 92-102 defeat, Schroder had a record of 3-11 from the field. Moreover, he also went 0-6 in the three-peat region. Thankfully, the 31-year-old had one of his best outings for the Warriors. He dropped a three-pointer as the Warriors managed to negate the Phoenix Suns 109-105. Commenting on his rocky start, Dennis Schroder seemed relieved to get his form back. “It felt good for sure to knock down a three. It’s been a rough couple of games,” said the Warriors’ star.

Now, there are reasons for the growing fan frustrations. In the last five games the shooting guard played, he has only managed to score 14-50 from the field. Moreover, his three-point shooting looked even dismal with a 4-23 record. Meanwhile, as the rumors begin to circulate, Steve Kerr has the perfect solution to make optimum use of the 31-year-old’s talent.
Steve Kerr Devises Interesting Method For Using Dennis Schroder Properly
Having lost Klay Thompson in an offseason trade, the Golden State Warriors have been desperately looking for a replacement. Thus, they roped in Dennis Schroeder to lighten the burden of Steph Curry. However, with the slow start claims doing the rounds, there has been a significant amount of tension building around the athlete. However, as for head coach Steve Kerr, he seems to know exactly what is required.

“What we’ve missed is another pick-and-roll player so that Steph doesn’t have to run so much pick-and-roll all game and wear himself down,” Kerr stated, revealing his game plan further. Now, with a decent performance against the Suns, it might open up a brighter avenue that Schroder had longed to follow for a long time. Thus, with things looking a little rocky, it remains to be seen what happens next.
