Dennis Rodman and his relationship with daughter Trinity Rodman has long been in the public eye. The ongoing family drama involving the Chicago Bulls legend, his girlfriend Yella Yella, and daughter Trinity Rodman has recently got everyone’s attention.
During the recent episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, Trinity characterized her relationship with her father as distant, bluntly declaring he is “not a dad” despite being related by blood. She instantly received a lot of support. Her following has hyped her up as an independent, talented figure in the sports world rather than someone living off her father’s legacy.
“My dad, he likes to be in control. So he would take us shopping, get us phones, do this, do that. ‘Oh, I’m going to take you and your brother shopping,’ and me and my brother are like, ‘We don’t want to go shopping, we just want money to go get In-N-Out after school with our friends,” Trinity said on the podcast.
However, after her recent comments, Rodman’s partner, Yella Yella, took charge from his side and added her comments. Commenting on the latest Instagram post by an entertainment website, The Neighbourhood Talk, Yella subtly reminded Trinity that there is a need to tell the truth, and it will happen.
“Now that you opened that door the truth will be told #lies,” the NBA legend’s girlfriend commented.

After this comment, things got even more heated, and later on, Yella also asked Trinity to change her last name as well.
Dennis Rodman Publicly Apologized To Daughter Trinity Rodman
Trinity made it clear that, although Dennis is her biological father, he hasn’t acted like a dad in the most critical ways. Trinity’s mother, Michelle Moyer, has been the biggest influence in her life. She also recalled when her mother and Dennis divorced when Trinity was about 10. She described her father’s behavior as controlling, recalling how he would often take her shopping instead of giving her money for simple things. Trinity said that it only left her feeling frustrated.
However, Dennis Rodman recently took to Instagram to publicly apologize to his daughter. “Sorry I wasn’t the Dad you wanted me to be but either way I still tried and I still try and never will stop,” Rodman said in his response.
It came after Trinity, the talented soccer player and Olympic gold medalist, expressed her feelings of abandonment by the former NBA great. In his apology, Dennis acknowledged his shortcomings in a deeply personal message, assuring her of his continued love and desire to be an active part of her life despite their estranged relationship.
