The positive coronavirus test to Utah Jazz stars Rudy Gobert and guard Donovan Mitchell has caused many additional players to think they might need to get tested just to make sure they will be okay, on top of staying away from people and spread the virus even further.
All members of the Jazz and OKC Thunder were tested earlier this week, and now it looks like the Brooklyn Nets will follow suit.
DeAndre Jordan told WFAN’s Maggie Gray he “thinks” the entire team will be tested over the weekend.
The Nets last had contact with the Jazz on January 14th, so it’s unlikely any member of the team has anything, but then you have to factor in what ref called the games for the Jazz over the past few weeks and if they called games with other teams, which might’ve spread the virus if one of them have contracted COVID-19.
That is why the 2019-2020 season has to be suspended for the time being. Other major sports have also done the same thing.
New York State has already banned public gatherings of 500 or more people.
