No NBA champion has visited the White House since Trump officially took office in 2017.
The Warriors had one two consecutive titles and after a much publicized denial after the first year, the warriors decided to meet former President Barack Obama during a visit to Washington, D.C. this past January after winning the 2018 title.
The Toronto Raptors aren’t likely to visit with Trump as well, according to Danny Green.
“I just don’t think that we accept, to put it politely,” he said on Yahoo Sports’ “Inside the Green Room” podcast.
Green continued: “I try to respect everybody in every field that they do regardless of how crazy things are. But he makes it really hard. He makes it very, very tough to respect how he goes about things and does things. But to put it politely, I think it’s a hard no. …
“I’m sure he’s going to take his invite back if we do decide to say no. He’s going to be like, ‘Well, I didn’t invite them anyway.’ That’s fine.”
Green, however, seems rather excited to visit Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at Parliament Hill in Ottawa, Ontario.
“I’m looking forward to it,” he said. “I’ve never been to – I don’t know what that’s even like. I don’t know what the White House of Canada is or looks like. … There’s different stuff that I’m looking forward to checking out and just to see how (Trudeau) operates his atmosphere of work.
“His kid’s a big fan. His son says I’m his favorite. I don’t know if that’s true or not but he said it in front of the team in one of our practices.”

Trudeau was actually present during the Raptors championship parade and actually gave a speech to the excited crowd.
The date for that meeting has yet to be planned.
