The Milwaukee Bucks are in a disappointing situation following a poor start to the 2024-25 NBA season. After a narrow 101-100 win against the Houston Rockets, they currently hold a 5-9 record. The team’s struggles have largely been attributed to reduced contributions from key players, including Damian Lillard.
As a result, fans have been trolling them on social media. In response to one such critic, Lillard recently made a controversial statement. A fan commented on the struggles Lillard is facing with the Bucks on the Blazzersnationcp Instagram page, and the point guard defended himself in the comments section.
A Trail Blazers fan shared a picture of Lillard, mentioning that he has nothing to do with his recent struggles at the Bucks. The fan captioned the picture, “Wish him well, but he ain’t my dad.”
