Damian Lillard is taking no rest day despite his busy schedule with the Milwaukee Bucks. Once done with his on-court duties, the star guard took to social media to share his wild three-word response to Jason Whitlock’s recent comments on Joy Taylor.
Lillard’s comments came in reaction to Whitlock’s making a series of statements about Taylor in the context of a lawsuit alleging sexual misconduct against her colleagues. His comments, particularly those that suggested Taylor achieved her position through personal relationships with powerful men. Lillard couldn’t help reacting to Whitlock’s audacity.
“In what world?” Lillard captioned his Instagram story, tagging Jason Whitlock’s comments on Joy Taylor.

Whitlock sparked outrage with his remarks regarding Taylor, which came in response to a lawsuit filed by former hairstylist Noushin Faraji. In his comments, Whitlock not only criticized Taylor’s character but also made some frankly objectifying statements. Lillard, clearly not impressed by Whitlock’s take, posted a screenshot of the remarks on social media and showed his disgust. Now, it remains to be seen whether Whitlock will respond to Lillard’s challenge.

He racked up 25 points while also grabbing five rebounds and sinking 5 of 8 three-point attempts on the action-packed Monday night. The elite player that he currently is, Lillard is averaging 24.7 points and 7.4 assists per game. Even amid a rocky start for the Bucks, who sit at No. 5 in the Eastern Conference with a record of 18-16, Lillard is keeping his contributions high.
As Lillard continues to climb the scoring ladder, he’s now setting his sights on Clyde Drexler. Drexler is just ahead of him at No. 37 with 22,195 points and only 376 points more than Lillard’s current tally. After helping the Bucks secure the NBA Cup in December, Lillard’s presence is key as Milwaukee eyes a potential pairing with star Jimmy Butler.
