As the 2024 NBA Finals between the absolute bests this season from the Western and Eastern Conference, the Dallas Mavericks and Boston Celtics, are approaching, the cheapest ticket prices on Tickpick for the seven games have been revealed, and they are anything but cheap.
The least amount of tickets is for Game 1, worth $793, which goes up to $1,827 in Game 6, which is the most expensive, while the tickets for Game 7 cost $1,737. As soon as NBA Central disclosed the price range on X (formerly known as Twitter) the hoop lovers were left in disbelief. Stunned at the high ticket prices, the NBA fans shared their thoughts on the post.
Shocked on seeing the price for the last game of the series, a fan wrote, “1.7K$ for a Game 7 is insane bruh”.
Another fan, deciding to stay at home and watch the games to avoid such high-priced tickets, commented, “Looks like I’ll be courtside from my couch with a bucket of popcorn and a lot less financial trauma.”
“That much I better be able to call a play or play in the game”, one fan hilariously added.

Someone compared the ticket prices for the games with Taylor Swift’s show tickets and wrote, “Damn. These kids got Taylor swift tickets 2x-3x this and she’s doing this 150 nights this year.”
“If the NBA don’t got me with reasonable prices, I know StreamEast got me”, another fan shared his alternate option in the comment section.
Experts Pick Their Favorite for 2024 NBA Finals
With the exciting series just around the corner, the TNT Sports experts have picked their favorites between the two teams who could lift the Larry O’Brien Trophy.
Former NBA great turned analyst Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith, NBA TV’s Sam Mitchell, NBA.com’s Steve Aschburner, Shaun Powell, and John Schuhmann all have sided with the 17-time NBA champions Boston Celtics, who will appear for the second time in the Finals in the last three years.
While star experts like Shaquille O’Neal, NBA TV’s Greg Anthony and NBA.com’s Michael C. Wright believe that the Mavericks have a better chance at the Finals.
The battle between Luka Doncic and Jayson Tatum gives a layer of superstar clash in the series apart from the personal feud between the Cs and Kyrie Irving. Kristaps Porzingis, formerly of the Mavericks will also make his return to the series after missing most of the NBA Playoffs. One has to keep an eye on the series which will begin on Thursday to see which set of experts made the right choice.
