The Dallas Mavericks welcomed the OKC Thunder for game 6 of the Western Conference semifinal series. They also welcomed a couple of well-known faces from the world of football who were rooting for the home side. The duo in question are Micah Parsons and Trevon Diggs of the Dallas Cowboys.
The Mavs posted a picture on their IG handle of the two stars which has garnered almost 52k likes by the time of writing. You can see it here:
The Cowboys’ duo were not the only ones from the world of the NFL having an interest in NBA action. Texas native Patrick Mahomes was also seen in multiple Mavs games this season, with the recent one being in game 3 of the series. The Chiefs QB interestingly pointed out that Lu Dort of the OKC Thunder has the tools to play in the NFL as a RB or LB. However, Mahomes wasn’t in attendance on Saturday as he was rocking in the “Kelce Jam” with his teammate Travis Kelce.
That did not stop the Mavs from winning, as the two Cowboys players became the franchise’s new lucky charm.

Kyrie Irving and Derrick Jones Jr. came alive in the 4th quarter with both finishing the night with 22 points each. P.J. Washington came clutch in the dying seconds of the game as he drew a foul from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander with only 2.5 seconds on the clock.
